Pupil Leadership Groups
At Livingston Village Primary we have a number of Pupil Leadership groups which allow the children to have a voice and make positive change within the school and wider community. These groups represent the student population and give the children the opportunity to develop leadership roles.
House Captains
- Meet regularly.
 - Help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community.
 - Regularly visit all classes to gain their views and share information.
 - Maintains open communication between students and school staff.
 - Encourage all student council to participate in projects and activities.
 
The Sports Committee
- Meet regularly.
 - Organise Fundraisers around sporting activities.
 - Assist in the requisition of new equipment.
 - Organise sports resources.
 - Assist in the organisation of Sports Day.
 - Lead Sports assemblies and share information at assemblies.
 
Young STEM Leaders
- Meet regularly
 - Create and organise STEM events
 - Create and lead STEM activities
 - Lead and support assemblies
 - Keep records
 
Digi Leaders
- Meet regularly
 - Support all assemblies and performances
 - Support teaching staff
 - Create and lead digital learning
 - Organise and maintain storage of digital resources
 
Pupils Protecting the Planet
- Meet regularly.
 - Keep records of meetings.
 - Lead Assemblies.
 - Take responsibility for measuring projects.
 - Create an Eco-Code.
 - Promote work with the whole school and wider community.
 - Keep the Eco-Schools noticeboard up to date.
 
Peer Mediators
- Support pupils in the playground
 - Lead Peer Mediator Assemblies
 - Communicate with staff
