Pupil Leadership Groups

At Livingston Village Primary we have a number of Pupil Leadership groups which allow the children to have a voice and make positive change within the school and wider community. These groups represent the student population and give the children the opportunity to develop leadership roles.

House Captains

Meet regularly.
Help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community.
Regularly visit all classes to gain their views and share information.
Maintains open communication between students and school staff.
Encourage all student council to participate in projects and activities.

The Sports Committee

Meet regularly.
Organise Fundraisers around sporting activities.
Assist in the requisition of new equipment.
Organise sports resources.
Assist in the organisation of Sports Day.
Lead Sports assemblies and share information at assemblies.

Young STEM Leaders

Meet regularly
Create and organise STEM events
Create and lead STEM activities
Lead and support assemblies
Keep records

Digi Leaders

Meet regularly
Support all assemblies and performances
Support teaching staff
Create and lead digital learning
Organise and maintain storage of digital resources

Pupils Protecting the Planet

Meet regularly.
Keep records of meetings.
Lead Assemblies.
Take responsibility for measuring projects.
Create an Eco-Code.
Promote work with the whole school and wider community.
Keep the Eco-Schools noticeboard up to date.
