Primary 2 took a walk on the wild side this week when we visited 'Amazonia' as part of our science topic about mini beasts. We saw lots of exotic animals - monkeys, parrots, frogs, tarantulas, butterflies and more! We enjoyed watching the amazing leaf cutter ants hard at work and holding Milkshake the snake during our animal handling session!

In Literacy we learned how to spell words with consonant blends. In writing we wrote descriptions of Mr. Grinling, the lighthouse keeper from the story 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch'.
